The Hong Kong University Graduates Association Education Foundation ("the Foundation") takes all reasonably practicable precautions and exercises due diligence to comply with the requirements of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (the Ordinance) in its management practices. The policy of the Foundation in handling personal data is stated in this Privacy Policy Statement which is publicly accessible on the Foundation's website at www.hkuga-ef.org.hk.

Purpose of Collection and Guideline for Use of Personal Data

The Foundation has been using your personal data for the purposes of organizational updates, including providing information about our quarterly eNEWS, fundraising appeals, issuing receipts, event invitations and other communication and marketing purposes. The Foundation will continue to use your contact information (including name, telephone and fax numbers, email and postal addresses, etc) and other relevant information for the above purposes. The Foundation will not sell, rent, or transfer your personal data to any person or organization.

Personal data access and correction requests

Apart from the exemptions provided under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, you are entitled to access and correct your personal data held by the Foundation, and request us to cease to use your personal data for promotion purposes.
