The Charity Committee, in co-ordination with the Student Council, PTA and our S3 students, organized the Charity Week for the whole school in April. This year we have raised over HK$30,000 and the money will be donated to the charities below:

• UNICEF
• Sunshine Action
• WWF
• HK Dog Rescue
• World Vision to support the recent earthquake victims in Sichuan

We were very lucky that the weather was fine throughout the week so all activities could be held outdoors. The week started off with the game booths set by our S3 students during lunchtime, staff and students engaged and had fun together. Besides games, the Student Council designed a T-shirt to sell at the sale booth. We would also like to give a big thank you to the PTA Team for making lots of mouth-watering snacks like cookies and cakes to sell in the bakery sale.

One of the highlights of the week was the Kingball Match, teachers’ team against students’ team! Hundreds of students gathered around the Amphitheatre to watch this ‘Fight for the Century’ which was an exciting match in which staff and students gave their very best of effort!

Another highlight was, by raising money up to a specific amount, some of our teachers voluntarily shaved their head for the charity, including our very own school Principal.
