In order to experience the physical difficulties that the elderly face every day, an experiential activity was held for the P.6 students during their last PSE lesson to develop their patience and care towards the elderly. Students were provided with some materials to wear so they could not see, hear nor write easily. Then the ‘elderly’ were required to complete two simple tasks. Sharing was conducted during the next PSE lesson. We hope our students not only enjoyed the activity, but also developed empathy to respect and care for the elderly in their daily lives.
