This is our third visit, 27 of our P. 5 students went on a school trip to Beijing. We visited the Beijing Fengtai District Donggaodi No. 2 Primary School, a sister school of HKUGAPS, and Beijing Aerospace Science and Technology Center. Our students stayed with families of the aerospace personnel. Their children showed us around the city and we visited lots of special places related to aerospace. We were all amazed by the equipment that we saw. We also visited Tiananmen Square, The Palace Museum, The National Stadium (Bird’s nest), The National Aquatics Centre (Water Cube), as well as The Great Wall. This trip has given students and teachers a deep insight into the history as well as the advancement of aerospace technology of Beijing.
