Christmas Night

College
12 Dec 2014

From backstage to front stage, with much toil and labour, and hours of incessant rehearsals and technical rundowns, the HKUGAC Christmas Night was held on 12th December, 2014.

The warmth of Christmas could be felt throughout the campus that night. It was a magnificent fusion of both Eastern and Western cultures. HKUGAC students are renowned for their passion in learning, creativity and confidence. The multi-faceted nature of the programme truly reflected their talents in all perspectives. The programme showcased the aesthetic beauty of philharmonic and choral music, Speech Festival winner recitals, funk jazz dance and rock band. We were further mesmerized by the energetic drum team followed with the soothing “Gu Zhen” accompaniment to an enchanting Chinese poem. Students from all forms participated with enthusiasm and shone like gems on stage.

Last but not least, the PTA performance embraced the night with family warmth and kindled our hearts with love and care. Their impressive team spirit and full support of the students set a good role model for our kids to cherish the importance of mutual respect and love. The Christmas night concluded with the HKUGAC staff performance which was led by our beloved principal, Ms Corina Chen. The warm spirit of Christmas came to a climax when our White Christmas was celebrated under the moon with everyone rocking around the Christmas tree in perfect harmony.
