On the 4th March, 2021, Professor Michael Ng from HKU had conducted a talk, “Game in Mathematics”, for S3 students in HKUGA College. The talk was conducted face-to-face at the school hall to illustrate the fixed-point theorem through playing cards.

The assembly was such a valuable learning experience that exemplified the close connection between mathematics and our daily lives through an intriguing and interactive activity. It has also provided an opportunity for our students to learn beyond the school curriculum and could help them develop the character strengths of curiosity and love of learning.
