The 14th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Foundation was held on 19 December (Friday) at Lingnan Club. The Meeting approved the audited accounts and the Executive Committee (EXCO) Report.

A Dinner Talk was held after the AGM. We were honoured to have Mr. Kenneth Chen Wei-on, Secretary General of the Secretariat of the Legislative Council of Hong Kong, as the Guest Speaker, and the topic was “Filibustering at the Legislative Council – Contexts and Perspectives”.

Mr. Chan brought up the issue on how filibustering has become a popular procedural tactic employed by some members to delay LegCo proceedings, and how LegCo could introduce appropriate measures to deal with "filibustering".
