The Foundation held its Retreat meeting on 5 March at Holiday Inn Golden Mile Hong Kong to re-visit EF's vision and mission, discuss and collect different opinions and suggestions for our next stage development. About 50 members participated the event conducted by Dr. Kenneth Tse, Vice-Chairman of the Foundation. The participants joined three theme groups:

• Overarching purpose & EF organization
• The 2 schools & Education Excellence
• School Plus & New Initiatives

to discuss and share their valuable opinions on the future development of the Foundation.

The Secretariat compiled the views and suggestions presented by the three groups and the consolidated summary has been reviewed, considered and endorsed by the EXCO at its last meeting on 28 April. The endorsed “Retreat Opinion and Action Plan” will serve as an important guideline to the EXCO in planning the way forward.
