A half day heritage walk to Tai Po was organized for members on 29 Oct (Saturday). The event was well-attended by 30 participants.

The heritage walk was led by volunteer docent, Mr. Tai Keen-man, Vice-Chairman of Education Foundation, who introduced the historical background of Tai Po and the declared monuments in Tai Po. The tour provided us a unique and inspiring experience. The following spots were visited:

• Green Hub (Old Tai Po Police Station)
• Old District Office North
• Old Tai Po Market Railway Station
• Man Mo Temple

The visit was very well received and enhanced the participants’ understanding of the historical and cultural value of Tai Po. We would like to thank Mr. Tai for providing an interesting, informative and indepth introduction and to Mr. Jimmy Lo for organizing this meaningful tour.
